Long Term: 1.5 years with my first MINI Cooper S Coupe

I apologize for not finishing my previous one year review of my custom 2013 MINI Cooper S Coupe.  However after going on a quick drive to the coffee shop this Sunday afternoon, I realized it has been almost one and half years since I first received delivery of my 2013 Coupe (R58).  Let's recap that first year and half and all the fun I've had with and in my MINI Cooper S Coupe Bonnie.

2013 MINI Cooper S Coupe One Year Review: A year of smiles (Part 1 of 2)

Most of you know me as a tech/computer geek.  I've seen a lot and done a lot of hacking/modding/building in my last 15 years.  However most would not know deep down inside, I'm a car junkie too.  Since my early ages, I've lusted over supercars such as the good ole Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari F40 (OMG!!!!), Lamborghini Diablo, Corvette ZR1 and McLarens. I loved watching the Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider.  I'm now 34 years old and have come to the realization that I probably won't own a supercar.  That's okay, I've accepted it as an adult.  Ok, sorry for the long winded intro to the intro, but keep reading for my long term, one year review and recap on the 2013 MINI Cooper S Coupe.

Me and Google Glass: Part 2 of 2

Previously in part 1 of 2, I briefly described my initial experience with Google Glass.  Today's post will bring out the critic in this geek and go over some of the realistic shortcomings of Glass and future challenges and my overall opinion Glass.  There won't be any pretty pictures in this one but just this geek's opinions.  Content is king, right?  :)

Me and Google Glass - Part 1 of 2

Yes, I am a Google Glass Explorer.  No, I am not a Glasshole.  I was invited into the Explorer program in the second wave of invites that Google sent out back on November 26, 2013.  Prior to being invited, I had been been lusting over wearable pc/technology and more specifically Glass type of HUD overlays.  I plan to recap my last few months of using Glass and thoughts on it.
